Tina Engell is an established goldsmith based in the west country of
England from where she designs and makes precious jewellery by hand.
Having completed her four year apprenticeship as a goldsmith at Ole
Lynggaard, Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1988 she came to London to study
at the Royal College of Art where she graduated with a MA in jewellery
design in 1992.
She received the Craft Council’s setting up grant in 1992 and
has since supplied many shops and galleries in Europe with her range
of jewellery. Working with her existing collection she constantly updates
and adds to her range of designs.
Her Danish background informs her work, the strength of which is its
simplicity, boldness and individuality allowing the stones to dominate.
Each stone, colour and cut are unique in all the rings, earrings and
bracelets.
