How to buy

VIA THE WEB | IN PERSON
The TygerGlyn website was originally designed primarily as a viewing gallery, to whet your apetite and give you an idea of the kind of work represented by TygerGlyn. However, by popular demand we have now made it much easier to make purchases from the website if you cannot make it in person to the shows or to an appointment.

Buying online will still probably require an email or telephone conversation with the gallery to be sure of availability, exact price etc but then you now have the choice of paying securely online or over the telephone. We advise you never to give credit card details in an email.

This website (unlike our last) can and will be regularly updated so as to show examples of the most current work available. Some pieces may have already sold but are included on the site to inspire and inform. They will be marked with a Z in the code and something similar would we hope be able to be sourced for you or commissioned.

Additional work may also be available from the gallery that is not shown on the site and if you are interested to see or hear about other work by a particular designer or of a particular style, please be in touch and we can email you images where available.

Best efforts will be made to keep the site totally accurate but inevitably there may be occasions when not all the information is as accurate and up to date as we would like. For any disappointments caused by this, we apologise in advance. If in any doubt about a piece, please contact us.

To avoid disappointment or confusion, it is important if you wish to purchase something you see on this site, that you enquire by email or telephone whether it is (or they are) still available and to discuss any details about the piece that might not be gleaned from the website. For instance in the case of rings whether they are your size or can be resized. One off rings does not mean one in every size. That particular piece will need to be altered and some pieces are not alterable.

To summarise our recommendations:

1. Once you've seen something you like, and are sure that you have all the information that you wish for, please click on the 'Arrange purchase' button next to the large image of the piece. This will either provide you the exact price and take you straight through to the checkout or prompt you to contact the gallery by phone or automatic email.

2. If you have already been in touch with us by telephone or via the 'Request more info' or 'Arrange purchase' emails and have confirmed your wish to go ahead with the purchase, you can make your card payment to us either over the phone or online, whichever is more convenient.

If you prefer to pay online we will put the piece into your personal online shopping basket that you will find when you login to your Tyger Glyn online account. You will have 24 hours to make your payment via our secure online checkout system before the reserve on the piece is removed and it is returned to the virtual gallery. This facility may be particularly helpful for those of you living in time zones other than London and for whom 24 hour online payment options are therefore more conveninent than finding a good time to telephone!

3. If you're not quite ready to make a purchase, you can also save the pieces you like to your Wishlist as a reminder to yourself and Tyger Glyn of what you like and / or email the details to a friend or present giver, easily done via Tell a friend.

4. We take most credit and debit cards (except Maestro and Diners) and payment can be taken over the phone or via our secure online payment system.

Or we can accept UK cheques made out to Tyger Glyn, or payments via internet bank transfer - international or UK based. Please contact the gallery if you prefer to pay by any of these methods.

5. Tyger Glyn will only take credit card payment after it has been confirmed with you that the piece is available and ready to ship. Our contract to supply you is only complete on receipt of this confirmation email from us. With all web purchases and cheque payments where the customer is not present, your purchases will only be sent once payment has cleared.

6. Tyger Glyn will take a non returnable 50% deposit on any commissioned (bespoke) pieces, prior to the order being placed. The 50% balance will be payable before delivery. 100% payment will be taken up front for pieces that need altering for size and once altered, these pieces are non refundable.

7. Tyger Glyn reserves the right not to agree to alter a piece and/or not to sell a piece that would be altered if we believe it would compromise the physical and/or artistic strength of the piece.
