Find out the exact price, dimensions etc of the piece you are interested in by clicking on the 'Request more info' button, remembering to put your questions to us in the box given in the form or call us.

Arrange purchase
When you have all the information you need and you are ready to buy, call us if you would like to pay over the phone. If you would like to pay online, click on 'Arrange purchase' and you will be taken directly to our secure payment area. If it is a special or bespoke order and you have not already talked with us and confirmed that you wish to pay online so that we can place the work in your personal shopping basket, you will be prompted to contact the gallery before going straight to checkout.

Placing your order by phone
Call us quoting the stock code of the piece you are interested in. If for any reason you can't get through to us on the phone, please send us an email via 'Arrange purchase' or 'Request info' telling us when would be most convenient to call you back.

Comissioning work
Most of what we source are one-off pieces. Some are included on the website even though they may have sold, in order to inform and inspire. We hope this will make choosing the designer you'd like to make a bespoke piece for you that bit easier. Not all of our designer accept commissions but most will be happy to make something for you and we will do our best to make sure that the right designer is chosen for what you are looking for.

Viewings by appointment
Between Events and Salons, the only way to see and/or handle or try the works for sale is to make a special appointment. Please call or email the gallery to arrange this. Appointments can be in or out of usual office hours. We will always try to allow for as convenient a time and place as possible.

Price bands
A guide price is shown for each available piece on the website. Prices range from A (under GBP100) to G (over GPB10,000). Simply run your cursor over the question mark below the detailed photogaph of the piece you are interested in to know the price range of the piece. It will show in white. Just contact us by email using the 'Request more info' if you'd like to know the exact price, or call us.

We specialise in one-off pieces but we still want to show you the full range of work available from the designers we represent. To do this we need to show pictures of work that may have already sold but which can inspire you to think a similar piece might be perfect for you, and can be commissioned or sourced, perhaps with a different coloured stone or other variation. Being hand made no piece can be identical. These pieces are marked by a Z in the price bands.

If you would like a price list specific for all the things you are interested in, please contact the gallery. We can provide a personalised pdf catalogue or price list with photos and descriptions of the specific pieces in which you are interested. You can also choose to receive an additional list of the items, with no prices, if you are trying to choose a gift and want to show the shortlist to the recipient for their input.


Payment methods
i) Payment can be made by most credit and debit cards via our secure online payment system.

ii) Visa, mastercard and amex credit cards are also accepted over the phone aswell as visa, electron and some maestro debit cards.

iii) Payment can also by made by special arrangement with the gallery by bank draft, BACS, CHAPS or cheque

iv) Valid Tyger Glyn gift certificates may also be used against towards payment. Please see under Gift services for details.

Order confirmations
Money will not be taken from your card until it is confirmed with you that the piece you want is available and ready for delivery.

No work will be sent out before payment is received by Tyger Glyn.

Online payment security
At tygerglyn.com we ensure that our site is secure by using Secure Socket Layer encryption (SSL) this encrypts sensitive data like your credit and debit cards transactions, stopping them from being accessed unlawfully. Secure pages are recogniseable by the padlock symbol in the browser.

All purchases to be delivered within the UK will be sent Royal Mail special delivery. Delivery will be arranged within 1-3 working days of our confirmation that your purchases are ready to be dispatched.

Delivery requires a signature or the parcel will be taken to your local sorting office for collection with ID.

London same day GBP 20.00
If your purchase is in stock, a same day day express service is available on request within London postcodes. Responsibility for ensuring there will be someone available to sign for the package on delivery falls on the client. Orders need to have been recieved by 2pm for this service to be possible. Please telephone the gallery on 020 7835 1829 to check.

EU deliveries GBP 18.00
Deliveries to countries within the EU will be sent by Royal Mail tracked service or suitable courier.

Overseas orders (ex EU) GBP 25.00
Clients will be sent their purchases by Fedex or other international courier as discussed at purchase.

Where applicable, UK taxes will be removed but any import taxes, customs or excise due on arrival in destination country or city are the responsibility of the client and may be charged to the client by the courier service on delivery.

4. VAT

GB VAT is included in all the prices shown or indicated. Because of the nature of the work we sell, we are able in many cases to charge just the Margin VAT rate for hand-made artistic work.

However, if you are resident outside of the EU and would like to reclaim your VAT on taking the piece or pieces outside of the EU we will be happy to provide you with the necessary forms for you to present to customs under the HM Revenue & Customs' Retail export scheme. Also if we are delivering the goods by courier to a country outside of the EU we can refund you the VAT.

Please note that due to the margin scheme VAT rate applicable to most of what we sell, the amount of VAT refundable is generally considerably less than the standard UK rate.

Tyger Glyn packaging
All Tyger Glyn jewellery purchases come automatically in a fine black leather box with velvet insert and an additional black velvet jewellery pouch. In person these are collected in smart black bags but with online purchases the boxes are protected by colourful tissue before being dispatched inside secure padded envelopes. If you opt for gift wrap, the gift wrapped box will be gently enveloped in coloured tissue before going in the padded envelope .If the item you are purchasing is too big or is unsuitable for this kind of packaging you will be notified and we will provide a suitable alternative.

We recommend that all jewellery that can be, is kept in its original box. This will help to protect the jewellery from any unnecessary damage. If you are travelling or use a large jewellery box for all your jewellery we recommend that you use the pouch provided for just the one piece. Gemstones and special metal surfaces can easily be scratched or damaged by other jewellery when put all together. Wrapping a necklace or earrings separately before putting in the pouch is also recommended to stop any part of the piece from marking or scratching another.

Our black leather boxes are hand made and supplied to us by a fair trade UK based company working with skilled Bangladeshi leather workers. They pride themselves on being fair trade and supporting the local community as they have done now for many years.


Gift wrap service
In addition to the above, jewellery can be gift wrapped on request and a handwritten message included for the set price of GBP5.00. Just let us know that you would like this done by ticking the box next to the item you want gift wrapped in the first page of the online checkout or let us know when you pay by phone.

We wrap the boxes in a beautiful gold leafed hand made paper from Nepal, which is both exquisite and luxurious and then tie the parcel with glamorous ribbon. Again in keeping with our own ideals, the paper is 'tree free' and sourced and supplied to us by a fair trade company that has been working with and supporting this particular Nepalese community for over ten years providing not only a much needed export but also the employment of many women in the Kathmandu valley and the infrastructure to insist that the children of all who work with them get to go to school, girls included.

The handmade paper is made from the inner bark of a wild shrub locally known as 'Lokta' which is found at altitudes of 7000-9000 feet. The environmentally friendly Lokta Bush re-grows again and again after pruning and its long fibrous handmade paper is prized for its attractive texture, durability, strength and resistance to insects.

Gift messages
A message can be included whether you opt for the full gift wrap service or not. Please provide us with the wording you'd like us to include where prompted to do so during checkout.


Help with gift purchases
If you are buying for someone else and are unsure what to get them, we have lots of experience in knowing which pieces everybody likes, or better still if you can provide a photo of the person we can advise on which pieces are likely to suit. Feel totally free to keep us to a budget. We have lovely pieces in all price ranges.


Gift certificates
Sometimes it just seems impossible to know what to get for the best in which case Tyger Glyn gift certificates may be the solution. Redeemable for up to 12 months they are issued in GBP25, GBP50, GBP100, GBP250, GBP500 and GBP1000 denominations and any multiples thereof.

Until further notice, our gift certificates may only be ordered by telephone or email and paid for in person or by telephone. We hope to make them available online in the near future. Each gift certificate is numbered and registered in your name. There is space on each certificate for you to include the name of the person to whom you are giving them.


Redeeming gift certificates
Gift certificates are non refundable and valid for up to 12 months from the date they were bought. They are not redeemable against cash. They may be used against purchases made in person or online but online purchases will currently require a phone call to the gallery to arrange. They may be used as part payment towards a more expensive purchase where the balance is made up by credit or debit card payment. If they are not fully spent in one go, the holder of the gift cerificate will receive change in the form of a gift cerificate or credit note for the value remaining. These will be valid within the 12 month period of the original gift certificates.

A non returnable deposit will be taken for all special commissions and bepoke pieces. The balance will be payable prior to final delivery.

Existing pieces that need resizing and/ or altered at time of purchase, must be paid for in full prior to the work being carried out and are non refundable or returnable.

How to return an item
We hope that you or whomever you give to, will love your Tyger Glyn purchase and have huge enjoyment from it for many, many years. However, in the unlikely and regrettable event that you should have a change of mind and wish to return the piece, or the person you give the piece to wishes to exchange the piece, this is possible but we have a few normal conditions: A prerequisite for all returns is that they must be returned quickly, unworn, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. The returned goods must also include a returns code obtained from the gallery.

Sending items back
Whenever you are thinking of returning anything to us, for refund or exchange, please contact the gallery first to obtain a delivery address and returns code.

Any items sent to us are at the owners' risk and cost and we would recommend posting only by Royal Mail's Special Delivery if within the UK or by trusted courier from outside the UK. It is advised that you maintain your proof of postage until you recieve an email confirmation from us of the safe arrival of your returned goods. Please see below for further details:

Refunds
Items to be returned for a refund must be sent back to us within 7 calendar days of receipt of goods. Goods must be unworn and in their original condition and packaging. It is essential to contact the gallery before you return anything by post or in person in order to receive a RGC (returned goods code) and the address to return goods to. Anything returned without the code will not be refunded or exchanged. Refunds will only be credited to the original cardholder's credit or debit card.

Please allow up to 14 days from the date we confirm refund approval for your account to be credited.

Exchanges
Exchanges can be made within 14 days of your receiving your order and depending on stock availability, so long as the original piece is returned to us in perfect and resaleable condition within 14 days. We cannot vouch for stock availabity. Exchanges may also be made for the equivalent sales value in Tyger Glyn gift certificates valid for up to 12 months from date of issue and governed by the terms and conditions of our gift certificates.

Credit notes
Credit notes are automatically turned into Tyger Glyn gift certificates, valid for 12 months from date of issue. Please read details about our gift certificates.

Damaged work
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, you must notify the gallery immediately and return the goods to the delivery address given to you by the gallery along with a Faulty goods return code within 7 days of receiving your order.

All faulty items will be inspected whereupon we will contact you with our decision. Regardless of statutory rights. The arbiter will be the Director of TygerGlyn and in the rare and unlikely event of any dispute will be decided on with the expert eye of the designer maker of the piece.

Most pieces can be resized by the original maker but on occasion the design of the piece makes resizing impossible. Please discuss sizing issues with Tyger Gyn before purchase.

Some pieces can be altered but TygerGlyn reserves the right not to alter a piece if we consider it would affect the design of the piece detrimentally

If you are worried about the size or scale of a piece please contact the gallery. The photos on the site do not show the pieces to scale and very large pieces can look quite small and vice versa but we can soon dispel any worries you might have.


Ring sizes
We prefer to measure your finger size ourselves if we are making a bespoke piece for you. Fingers change size, different jewellers use slightly different sizing tools and various conversion tables available on the interent translate non UK ring sizes with wildly varying results which can result in the difference between a well fitting ring and one that is not.

However sometimes this just isn't possible in which case we would suggest considering one of the options given below. In every event we would recommend that you check if the ring can be resized before you purchase it - Not all of our rings can be.

a. If it can be resized, and you are giving the piece to someone else and want it to be a surprise then we'd recommend you give it to the person as is. You might find it is the right size and if not, once they know about it, if it doesn't fit it can be resized most easily with their help and can usually be done very quickly

b. If you need the ring to be the right size or as close as possible, without the person knowing, there are a few ways of obtaining a ring size. This can work for a ring you are buying for yourself or someone else. Firstly, you take one of their /your rings which you know to fit well, to Tyger Glyn or a local jeweller, so that its size can be matched. Alternatively when trying to get the size of someone else, put one of their rings on your own finger, mark the point at which it fits your finger and have that point round your finger measured by Tyger Glyn or your local jeweller

When we see you we'd be happy to measure all your fingers and keep a record with your contact details for your future reference.
When measuring your ring size, it can be a good idea to do so at the end of the day, when your finger is at its largest. Similarly, avoid measuring when your finger is particularly hot or cold, as this can also affect its size.


Alterations
There may be occasions when your article of jewellery may require adjustment. In these cases the procedure is as follows:
a) contact Tyger Glyn in order to discuss the issue
b) if remedial advice from Tyger Glyn is not effective then we can arrange to have the item shipped back to us for consultation with the original designer
c) where appropriate, the original designer will make necessary adjustments to the piece and we shall then return it direct to you

We will be adding to this list as time goes on but for now here are a few top tips to help you enjoy our website to the full:

Tip 1
We will frequently be changing the pages on this site so we recommend that you try to note down the stock code of something you like. That way you can always find it again using advanced search.

Better still, save it to your Wishlist. This is the easiest way to find it again

or of course best of all, buy it immediately or send a hint using Tell a friend! These are one offs. As the saying goes: 'If you snooze you lose'

Registering for newsletters
By signing up to our newsletter you will be asked just for your email address. Newsletters will keep you up to date with special offers and updates to the website and may mention when the next Tyger Glyn shows will be but will never give their location. For this information you will need to be fully registered.

Full registration
By registering fully, you will have access to useful tools on the website not available to non registered members, such as creating a wishlist, your preferences and shopping online. You will also in due course be able to download pdf catalogues for the shows.You will be automatically sent our Newsletter. If you prefer just to access the website tools and not be added to our mailing list you can choose to be taken off the mailing list although Tyger Glyn will retain your mailing details. If you remain registered but opt not to be on our mailing list, you can still register separately for the newsletter which will give you website related news by email, on occasion.


Collector status
Collector status is for Tyger Glyn's most loyal high spenders. 'Collectors' have access to otherwise hidden pages and information such as the Designer profiles, Designer galleries and Advanced search by designer. They also receive special Collectors-only offers and invitations to early viewings of our private shows and events of interest.

Collector status is awarded at the discretion of Tyger Glyn.

Tyger Glyn is committed to protecting your privacy and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of customer information very seriously. This privacy policy explains how we use customer information and the procedures that we have in place to safeguard your privacy.

i. The information we collect and how we use it
To allow us to process your order, to manage your account or to allow you to make use of certain other features/services available on our website (including allowing us to make you aware of new products, promotional offers and events), we require you to register certain information about yourself. This includes your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and, when ordering items online, your credit or debit card number and expiry date.

This information allows us to process your order and to provide you with confirmation of your order or to contact you in the unlikely event that there are any problems with your order.

Should you wish to amend any personal details, you will be able to do so by accessing your information in the password protected 'My Account' section of the website.

Our secure online payment gateway, SecureHosting UPG and Nat West's Streamline provide us with a secure online payment system accredited to the highest possible standards as verified under the PCI DSS scheme. Your payment details pass securely encrypted direct to the PCI accredited secure payment service providers where they are also stored securely using SSL encryption for as long as they are neede to fulfill payment.

Information you provide when you freely fill in your preferences or create a wishlist is intended for your own use or that of your gift givers. It is accessible to Tyger Glyn and is intended to help us provide you ever better service and help when sourcing specific jewellery for you and trying to improve our services.

We may use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services. These statistics do not include information that can be used to identify any individual.

When you register your account you can choose to opt out of receiving marketing email communication from Tyger Glyn. If you are receiving emails from Tyger Glyn and would like them to stop you can either opt out in the 'My preferences' page of the 'My account' section, unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of our emails, or send an email to customerservice@tygerglyn.com with 'Unsubscribe' in the subject line.

You may also tell us if you wish only to receive information from us by email rather than also by post. Please let us know in the comments box when you register or in the 'Edit my details' page in the 'My account' section.

We reserve the right to use tracking software to monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us better meet the needs of site visitors. This software does not enable us to capture any personally identifying information.

Tyger Glyn does not provide your personal information to others for any financial gain or other than for the purpose of improving its services to you.

We will never disclose information about you to any other person or organisation without your consent unless we are legally required to do so.

However by using our website you agree that we may exchange information, including personal information, with other companies and organisations for security purposes (eg for the prevention of credit card fraud).

Also it is sometimes necessary for third party companies to work on our website. These companies or individuals are carefully selected and closely monitored and are only able to access your data as a way of improving the service and security we offer to you.

v. Your details
You warrant that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register with us is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.

If any of the information that you have provided to Tyger Glyn changes, for example if you change your email address or name, or if you wish to cancel your registration, please update your details on the 'Edit your details' page. You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

Tyger Glyn payment pages are hosted on a secure server using SSL technology (secure sockets layer) to ensure that all credit or debit card transactions are completely secure.

When you use our online payment pages, supplied by Secure Hosting UPG, the secure server will encrypt all of the personal information you provide us, including credit or debit card number, name and address. Encryption turns the information you enter into complex code, which is then securely transmitted and stored until payment is fulfilled. When you are on the card payment pages, you will find the padlock symbol that signifies you are on a secure page, on the top right hand corner of your browser tool bar.

We take all reasonable measures to keep your personal information, order and payment details secure. However, we cannot be held liable if an event beyond our control results in loss to you.
