About TygerGlyn

F INE, STRIKING & ORIGINAL are Tyger Glyn's watchwords: 'Fine' because the jewellery is precious and finely made; 'Striking' because the pieces are bold and beautiful; and 'Original' because everything is imaginative and handmade which ensures that any purchase from Tyger Glyn is a rare and usually unique gift to yourself or loved one.

The pieces are personally selected by the gallery's founder and creative director Miranda Rhys Williams, who carefullly brings together under one roof the very best pieces of hard to find, collectable and contemporary handmade artist and fine jewellery from the top goldsmiths and designer-makers of Europe and further afield. Many of the designers whose work is represented by Tyger Glyn, are collected by museums across the world and some are exclusively found at Tyger Glyn.

Miranda's discerning eye and passionate commitment to sourcing jewellery that suits each client individually differentiates Tyger Glyn from other galleries and is valued by both the designers the gallery represents and its ever increasing following of loyal and long-standing clients.

There is an emphasis on design that is striking and modern yet harks back to the softer, more organic and natural design of ancient times; on jewellery that is made by hand; where quality of material and craftmanship are never compromised and on jewellery as an artistic and imaginative expression of both maker and wearer.

Most Tyger Glyn jewellery is fine jewellery in gold, fine silver and platinum. Gold is particularly prized and at Tyger Glyn gold is only ever of high carat, 18ct to the purest fine gold (24ct).

Coveted, stylish and fun, non precious 'jewels' by collectable artists and sculptors such as Andrew Logan, Legge & Braine and Francesca Bristol are also included and Tyger Glyn will be re-introducing objets d'art to its collections during 2011.

Tyger Glyn and the jewellers it represents have been featured several times in the FT's How to Spend It, Harpers, Vogue, Art Review, The Times, The Telegraph Magazine, W, and Vogue Nippon amongst others and listed in various online guides too. See our Press pages for further details >
